According to EDF the average UK household yearly electricity use is 3100 kWh and 2000 kWh for a EV

My personal figures are pretty much the opposite with 1800 kWh household and 3600 kWh for charging

In either case we are taking about roundabout 5000 kWh per year which is half of just the household electricity use average for a US home that comes at a whooping 10716 kWh.
