UK EV Constituency Dashboard

While quite the mouthful and not really bothering to specify it is UK specific https://evadashboard.acceleratedinsightplatform.com is a nice initiative nevertheless by evaengland

Who is that ? good question:

A non-profit member association representing current and prospective EV drivers across England and advocating on their behalf to government, media and industry.

Seems like it’s been around since 2021 and is EV enthusiast driven, for £20 per year you can be a member.

Now to the map itself, if you are based in Scotland, Wales or NI not to to worry just because it says England, the map covers all the UK.

evadashboard as captured on 30 Nov 2025

It’s a good thing too because you can clearly see how Scotland’s ev uptake is clearly ahead (on par with London metropolitan area) while Wales and NI are all dark.

I can’t really make sense of some of the interface or terminology like 2050 energy demand(GB only) ?

We already established that while not stated as such this map is not global, if I figure out what the mysterious 2050 metric is supposed to mean ill update this post.

Also interesting: Rushcliffe :

Department for Transport figures show battery-electric cars in Rushcliffe jumped from 693 to 1,134 in a single year (2021→2022) – more than a 60% increase.

A recent analysis using DVLA data highlights Rushcliffe as one of the few non-London hotspots with around a 45% rise in EV registrations in a year, alongside Cambridge

Savills research (via West Bridgford Wire) found that Rushcliffe has the highest concentration of high-income households outside London and the South East/Cambridge around 47% of residents counted as high-earning.

Also interesting, Coventry cars are half electric

Makes sense considering the West Midlands Gigafactory / Coventry & Warwick Gigapark (Coventry Airport) huge EV battery manufacturing site at Coventry Airport, part of a wider Coventry & Warwick EV/battery “gigapark” investment zone, the UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC)
A £130m open-access plant in Coventry that helps companies move EV battery designs from lab to mass production and not to forget old faithful LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company)

Same with may of the affluent areas around Westminster, and the record holder is Bethnal Green with Almost all cars there electric
